Naxxramas in Wrath of the Lich King

It’s pretty much common knowledge at this point that Naxxramas is going to be moved to Northrend and will be an end game raid in Wrath of the Lich King. A lot of players (myself included) consider it to be the crowning glory of the raid game since it was the best designed originally and was pretty much non-linear. Blizzard too strucka  chord with some of us that haven’t experienced it by allowing the vast majority of players to see a dungeon that has so much to offer but that so exrtemely few got to experience.

We wanted to bring this instance to a more entry level raid as it was a dungeon that received a lot of praise back in the day and doing this would allow more players to experience it while delivering a great setting to begin raiding in Wrath of the Lich King. (src) In a new expansion we would rather make brand new dungeons that are the most challenging. For the players who did push the content in the past, this will be an easier dungeon for them to get through and move on to the new content. If it was a high-end dungeon again it would feel weird to have new content then a dip into difficult but old content before moving on. (src) I don’t have exact details on all tier armor sets at the moment, but we have said that we plan to re-use the Tier 3 armor models. (src)

Sadly there’s no information on the Four Horsemen boss encounter but since it’s going to be their premire entry level raid dungeon for the expansion, I would reckon Blizzard will release a spotlight featurette of some kind on it like they did with Hellfire Citadel & Karazhan before Burning Crusade came out.
