This has yet to happen to me but the concept of it it freaking hilarious. Your bird is flying ACROSS THE WORLD and he finally does just give out, too many twinkies. Players are enjoying the fact that now when leaving Ironforge on the flight to the Sunwell Isle, your gryphon pulls a 90 degree climb right outside the gates and you enter a loading screen, when you zone, you’re flying over the ocean north of Silvermoon City and (sometimes) your bird actually starts to get FATIGUE. That’s right folks, like if you were swimming too far off shore. Needless to say, you die. In the air. Have to spirit res on the Sunwell Isle and take the durability damage… with no repair vendor lol!

I don’t have any information on why it’s happening but it’s a known and logged bug and is slated to be resolved in a future update. I don’t see any indication that this can be resolved through a hotfix but it is still possible, so don’t lose hope.

If anyone has any specific information, such as this only affecting Warlocks (I couldn’t tell if that was serious) please feel free to post or reply to any threads already tracking this issue in the Bug Report forum. (src)
