M’uru Chinese first kill by Stars.

As some of you may know, Chinese provider The9 forcefully opened the gates and accelerated the Sunwell progression as far as Phases with the SSO event on Chinese servers as they got access MUCH later than we did. As much as some of us disagree with this, it’s not something we can change at all, and Blizzard doesn’t seem too bothered by it.

Chinese top guild Stars downed M’uru at 21:27pm (GMT+8:00), 12th May. They had 1% wipe the previous night, but they finally managed to bring him down. Congratulations to them for the Chinese first kill.

The 2nd door of Sunwell Plateau was opened on 6th May in cwow.

Their loot:
Heroic Judicator’s Chestguard (Plate)
Robes of Faltered Light (Cloth)
Garments of Serene Shores (Mail)
Sin’dorei Band of Triumph (Ring)

You can check out the whole WoW China & The9 story after the cut.

“The9, the company that operates World of Warcraft in China has announced that all Chinese realms will have their Isle of Quel’danas progress manually set to be fully completed, since “all players have contributed as they should to the world event”. They also apologized for the server problems players experienced these past few weeks, while wishing everyone a happy Mayday (a four-and-a-half day holiday this year in China).

This rather drastic measure comes amidst widespread player complaints of their servers’ poor performance after patch 2.4. Many of the more populous realms suffered frequent restarts and periods of downtime, especially at peak hours. As a result, a significant number of these realms also fell victim to rollbacks. Some of the hardest hit realms had their IQD progress reset multiple times in a single day.”
