Free Alliance Character Moves Oceanic PvE-PvP. It finally happened.
Just as a disclaimer, Blizzard is still adamant in not letting people from PVE servers transfer to a PVP server. But there’s always this little exception that will probably spark more than just a few arguments. There are tons of faction imbalance issues going on on many different servers, well at least people like to complain there are. So grab some popcorn, this thread is going to get really interesting.
To address faction imbalance issues on Oceanic PvP realm Thaurissan, we will be offering free character moves for Alliance players only from Oceanic PvE realms Nagrand, Aman’Thul, and Khaz’goroth to this realm. This transfer opportunity will open on Thursday, June 12, and is scheduled to end no later than Thursday, June 19. During this timeframe Paid Character Transfers to Nagrand, Aman’Thul, and Khaz’goroth will be disabled as we focus on resolving the issue at hand. In the event that we meet our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, transfers may be disabled without prior notice. No additional characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.
Once the transfers open, you can begin the process by visiting the Character Move page. (https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/character-move.html) (src)

You know, as far as I know the reason they wont let people xfer from PVE to PVP, was they didnt want to make it unfair for someone to level 1-70 easier on a PVE server, then go to a PVP server and have some fun, is this correct? Well, I always was curious to know, would Blizzard be sympathetic if I told them I made lvl 70 on a PVP server then went to PVE, but now I want to go back?

Folks have already gone that route sadly Yvansu, they give you the canned response of “Can’t do that, have no plans to do that at this time.”
I don’t even think it’s much more of an easy leveling thing. People will use that in arguments against all the time. But my biggest gripe with it is that on a PVE server you can farm undisturbed. The general price on a PVE server for let’s say Primal Air, is INFINITELY less than on a PVP server where you’re constantly fighting for your life on the Plateau.
Farm up about a cool 5k worth of mats on a PVE server and then go triple that amount on a PVP server.
