I mentioned before (and I’m sure most of you know by now) that this Sunwell event is an ongoing world event. I was shocked last night when I asked my raid group if they had been there for the opening of the AQ gates and more than half said no. Wow. Anyway, this is an all encompassing event that the entire server both horde and alliance players are directly affected.

The new badge vendor doesn’t spawn until we capture the armory and then only after we build her anvil. Drysc commented on the estimated wait time according to Blizzard based on their knowledge of server populations and such.

While it’s going to differ for each realm we expect it to take about a month for the the “Anvil” to be taken, and the new badge vendor that accompanies it to become available.

Participating in all of the Shattered Sun Offensive-related daily quests contribute to your realm’s progress in taking back each section of the island. So lend a hand! Only you can prevent Fel-Infestion! Give a hoot, don’t … avoid doing the daily quests. Where’s the Anvil!
