For some reason people seem to think it’s ok to start rumors and then spread them like wildfire when it’s been blatantly expressed in many different mediums that the rumor is a lie.

Epic flight training is NOT going to go down in price. It is NOT going to be 3000g. Blizzard has NOT said they will drop the price.

Will this change when WOTLK comes out? Maybe. But will it matter? Not really! Blizzard is giving us the ability to do 25 daily quests now in Patch 2.4 Think 25 quests each giving in between 12g-25g. You do the math, how hard is it going to be to get your epic flying mount long as you don’t piss money away at the AH.

Hortus is cracking down in a very real way on anybody speculating about this rumor on the forums.

I’m going to start banning people for posting this rumor that we have repeatedly stated is not true. (src)
