Earn a Zhevra Mount- New Recruit-a- Friend!

Remember how a while ago I posted images of this mysterious Zebra mount and in game spells (in the files) that allowed you to summon another player or grant an extra level? Yeah it’s here hurray!

With the new Recruit-A-Friend program you can earn an exclusive Zhevra mount, receive a FREE month of game time, and gain access to other exciting in-game benefits. From the moment your friend creates a character and starts playing you’ll both earn triple the experience when grouped together and have the ability to summon one another from anywhere in the world. Also, for every two levels of experience your friend earns, they can grant one level of experience to any one of your characters.

  1. Personally, I dont know how much or even if I care about this… but I bet there is some SERIOUS complaining right now about blizzard “Giving free levels” out. This is crazy. I like when games to ballzy stuff, so I think ultimately, go for it blizz!

  2. Hehe yeah I like this idea a lot. It’s basically making it easier for you to get your friends or family involved in the game and bring them up to speed a little. Notice that in the rules you don’t give THEM a free level, they give you or an alt of yours the free level.

  3. I wonder if this will be abused… “Hey dude, you get an account and I’ll give you tons of gold. You just keep rolling toons, and get them to level 10, after that, make another. Every 2 levels you get, I’ll give you 10 gold!

    /me now has 8 level 70’s.

  4. Ya, as I thought, it really can’t be exploited. The free levels are only up to the new guys account level and cannot exceed level 60

  5. My friend and I are trying this, because I really want that mount, and it is actually a lot of fun. We are leveling crazy fast and it makes playing together a lot more fun.

  6. For those that have tried this can anyone clue me in on the toons it works on, I mean, do the experience gains work for all characters on both accounts as long as they are similar level and grouped together?

My friend is joining Sunday, she wants to roll a warrior to learn the game, but she thinks a rogue as her main. If she rolls the Warrior first will her Rogue be exempt from the XP gain? Or do all the characters on the account get it?

Also, will it work with any of my characters? I have a level 20 that I’d like to level up, but she won’t get the bonuses since the level 20 is much higher than her. I was going to roll a waste toon just to get to 20 with her than switch to my existing Alt. Will we still get the benefits of partying together?

I assume everything is yes, but I don’t want some unpleasent surprise, like “Sorry, only applies to one character per account.”

This probably isn’t the best place to post this, but I can’t access other forums at work, the Man is keeping me down.

  7. To start this process log on to the Account Management section and click the Recruit-A-Friend button. This will take you to the actual friend referral page, where you can enter a friend’s email address and name one at a time. If you want, you can also enter a message that will be included in the invitation email.

    1. Characters on both accounts can summon each other once per hour.
    2. While adventuring with your linked friend/family member, you will each gain triple experience.
    3. For every two levels the new player earns, the new player can grant one free level-up to a lower-level character played by the veteran player.

The link between the accounts will last for 90 days from the date that your recruit creates an account. Remember that for the link to work properly, your recruit must create a new World of Warcraft account using the 10-day trial key in your invitation email.

All characters on the recruit’s account are eligible to receive the experience bonus, the ability to grant levels, and the ability to summon.

  8. Okay, we already did all the recruit a friend details, etc. She has the pass code, etc. That makes sense about the 90 days and that it works for all characters on the accounts. I figured there had to be some limit but must have overlooked that when I got all excited about the bonuses in leveling and free levels, etc. Thanks for the response!
