Christie Golden is writing a new WoW Novel based on Arthas.
I really like Christie Golden’s writing. She does an amazing job with the Horde lore and is possibly one of the main driving factors that helped me make the decision to come back to the Horde fulltime 100%. Not to say that the Alliance is bad or evil or full of morons (though Eredar seems to be a poor argument lol) but just about every halfway good player I had the honor to meet jumped servers, rolled Horde, or otherwise quit the game. The whole lore behind the Horde itself is very tragic and at the same time extremely real to me. Being a minority myself as well as being treated differently based on race, helps me identify with them more as well.
Christie Golden has written Lord of the Clans (which was all about Thrall) and she wrote the recent Rise of the Horde which is recommend to anybody out there as a service to themselves to learn all about Outlands and how it came to be the shattered and broken world it is now. Truly a very compelling story. She’s also writing some works for more Tokyopop World of warcraft mangas, and just finished work on a book that is the continuation of Tides of Darkness by Aaron Rosenberg; Beyond the Dark Portal. These are some serious lore pieces that you should snatch up asap. Reading thsi stuff is a great way to keep the excitement in the game because it yields you a little more depth so you know what exactly you’re fighting for in the game.
Chris Metzen and I batted around some titles, but we came back to a simple, stark, single word.
Arthas.
Yup. I’m the lucky author who gets to write the definitive novel about Prince Arthas Menethil, who later becomes the Lich King. You know–the guy who unleashed the plague of undeath across Azeroth. The fella for whom the new expansion, “Wrath of the Lich King,” is named. It’s a little intimidating, but more exciting than intimidating. Arthas is a
fascinating character, and I’ve always been intrigued by how it is that good people slide down that terrible, slippery slope to becoming monsters. And I get to tell this particular story.

You say “not to say Alliance is a bunch of morons” but then you say exactly that. GG.
Some people like different things. Grown-ups accept that.

Yeah my bad I’m still a kid. Last I checked this wasn’t an official publication and is pretty much my personal blog where I feel the urge to share my opinions and thoughts. In the article I also said that I have met a lot of amazing and wonderful Alliance players in my over 2 years playing AS ALLIANCE and am still in regular contact with many of them.
However they moved to a different server or simply quit the game. A paltry handful rerolled Horde and got me into it in the first place a while back and then after a few months I missed my friends and went back to the Alliance where I spent another large sum of time. Hell one of my best readers and somebody I have a lot of respect for plays as Alliance and even disdains from PVP (something I find a lot of joy & passion in)
Point in case, I’ve met a substantial amount of impatient, poor players in my time playing this game and the vast majority of them has been on the Alliance side. This argument could go on for ages but since this really isn’t a forum I’d rather not get too deep into it with a troll.
Now if you had a set of balls on you big enough to call me out on my blatant hating of past Alliance players I’ve been burned by, then you wouldn’t have posted anonymously with the email address of lol@you. Way to hustle there tiger, it suits that you comment under the name Failed.
