Brewfest Testing on the PTRs & No Kodo for Alliance.

It’s just like Ahune and the Headless Horseman. Coren on the other hand drops some really awesome loot. Soon as links work I’ll share.
We’ve made some changes to Brewfest this year, and we’re testing it out on the PTR. We have a few things in particular we’d like you to test when the holiday is active:
The Dark Iron Attack is back this year, every half-hour at the main Brewfest camps outside of Orgrimmar and Ironforge. Please test out the attack and give us your feedback on how it plays out.
There is a new boss lvl 70 in Blackrock Depths to test — Coren Direbrew, who is located in the Grim Guzzler. The mole machine directly to the right as you zone in should transport you to the Grim Guzzler. No need to clear all the way up there. (src)
Ok so now I have some good news and some bad news. Good news is that we already knew by means of Alpha mining that there was going to be a Brewfest Kodo mount. The bad news is that everybody (even me) assumed and thusly made asses of ourselves since Blizzard is deciding to not give them to the Alliance after all.
The decision was made to give Horde the Kodo and Alliance the Ram this year. I apologize if there were expectations that the Alliance would get a Horde mount; we were in discussions about this for a long time. I hope that you’ll enjoy the holiday regardless. (src)
I understand, considering expectations, that you’re upset, and this isn’t a decision that was reached lightly. I’ll be monitoring feedback all through the testing phase, but please do keep in mind that civil and constructive statements serve best. (src)
Why they would do this I honestly don’t know. Personally I think that adding Raptors would have been a better choice but Kodo makes sense because Draenei males look like a joke on anything other than large mounts. Something about the big hooves sticking out sideways instead of you know, normal.
