Bornakk over on the WoW forums addressed a question of when the next Blizzacast is going to be released.

We don’t have an ETA we can announce regarding the next BlizzCast episode. While the main recording has been completed we still have some steps to take to get it ready by our standards, but it isn’t too far off for sure. (src)

For the uninitiated, the Blizzcast is the first ever Blizzard produced podcast about all things Blizzard. There already exist multiple podcasts run by fansites and individuals regarding the World of Warcraft and other Blizzard franchises like Starcraft and Diablo. In the first Blizzcast we were able to listen to an interview with Blizzard’s lead graphic designer Sam Didier and later on in the podcast community moderator Drysc interviewed WoW Lead Designer, Jeff Kaplan about the upcoming 2.4 patch.

It can only be assumed what will be discussed in this next Blizzcast, but at the end of their first installment Karune said he was going to try and speak with some of the Diablo game developers as well as bring more depth to the goings ons in WoW. As a side note, Blizzard has been hiring like mad for two “Top Secret” projects one of which is a mobile application (WoW on your cellphone?) and the other is for a next generation MMO (possible Diablo 3? World of Starcraft?) So I can’t wait to find out what’s behind those velvet curtains in the next transmission.
